BETSY IRVINE
Betsy Irvine is a freelance Flash designer/developer based in Dallas, Texas. She started her career as a graphic designer (founding Bgraphic http://www.bgraphic.net/ in 1992), but quickly grew tired of the limitations in print design and started offering web design services in 1995. The first time she saw a site designed in Flash (1999), she was blown away and enthusiastically started learning Flash. With no programming background, the innovation of ActionScript 3.0 proved a huge obstacle to overcome, but she persevered and finally passed the Adobe Certified Expert exam in Flash (CS4) and rebranded her company as Dallas Flash http://www.dallasflash.com/ in 2008. Alejandro Miguel Quarto joined Persuasive Games Latin America, S.A. in 2006 as a General Manager, starting his career in interactive entertainment as a freelance programmer. In 2002 I’ve co-founded Platico Games Studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I have developed games for many well-known companies.
