Subscription Time

How long does it usually take for one to get their subscription? of for someone to reply to the contact us emails? I paid my $50 via paypal, and 5 days later, nothing, no confirmation email, no email of any kind, what’s the deal? this magazine for reals? >:(

I’m very sorry for bad experience with our Subscription – the agency who started take care of it since March 2009 tries to put everything in order. You can write to them at software@emdnl.nl
Please write to me directly so I will try to ask to check everything personaly!

:-\ I finally got a response from someone at the subscription place. It took a few emails, but I got a response promising my free issue to arrive next week. In all honesty, for it being a flash/flex magazine which deals w/Internet technologies, it feels like the subscription method employs old school thinking. I can’t wait to see your magazine…..

Hi, I´ve tried to comunicate many times since I´ve suscrived in February 24 and its time I´ve dont received any confirmation, I paid the same day via Paypal and mail to Justyna Kupińska telling her I made the payment but she never anser again. could you help me please?

Could someone from FFDMAG answer this please?
I have a pdf and print subscription. I understand that the print issue would take a while to get here, however I would think the pdf issue should be available for me as soon as the issue comes out…
Am I confused? I would really like to read this issue.

Hello! Greetings from Portugal!
I need to ask one question because i’m crazy to receive the issue 3/2009…i have subscribed for the printed magazine and it seems to me that this issue is taking longer than with the 2/2009 issue. Should the magazine already be in my hands or am i just being to anxious?
Any way i love the Magazine and thanks for it! sorry if i misspell something!

I am still unable to get FFD to figure out that I have a print and pdf subscription, but I’m being told that issue 2009/3 won’t be out until May.
I see it on the site, so I figured it was being shipped out, and since the pdf version should be real easy to send (an email), I thought it was out, but as I said, I’m being told it won’t come out until May.

Actually the website does indeed say that issue 2009/3 is “in stores”, so I’m really confused. I guess it’s possible that was just added today, so I’m not sure.
Maybe someone from FFD could help us to understand.
It would sure help to understand when the pdf versions and print versions generally are released/sent, so we know what to expect.
I too am really liking this magazine, though I only do Flex, and issue 2009/3 seems to be a little more Flex oriented, so that’s why I really want at least my pdf issue quickly.

I was incorrect, sorry for the confusion. It shows issue 2009/2 as “in stores”. Must be looking at the FFD site way too much.

Hello Guys,
The FFD magazine is the bimonthly magazine since 2/2009 issue. Each issue should be in stores first Friday in the month the magazine is due to. The issue subscribed should be delivered to the subscriber up to two weeks before the in stores date.
1/2009 – January/February/March
2/2009 – April/May
3/2009 – June/July
4/2009 – August/September
5/2009 – October/November
6/2009 – December/January
The subscription service should send the issue pdf/print – to be at subscribers door – two weeks before the First Friday of sale month.

my turn around on subscription was about 7 days for everything to go through. The first 2 days i was nervous, but then I figured maybe everyone was on holiday or at parties. It wasn’t so bad. the magazine showed up and it was awesome :)

Well today is May 22, 2009 and according to FFDMag people I should have received my print issue and my pdf issue.
I have gotten neither.
Has anybody gotten theirs??
This is very frustrating, or am I being unreasonable?

The company that sends the print issues doesn’t even have them yet, so I guess we’re out of luck.

I am being told by the company that was going to distribute the print issues, that they are now NOT going to distribute them.
I guess we’ll see what FFDMag people say about when we’re going to get them, assuming that they actually answer. Maybe they’ve been on vacation… No wait, they did enter the offer for a free pdf subscription if you talked about them on a site. I really would just like the print and pdf issues that I’ve already paid for.

I received an email from Anna at ffd and it had my 2/2009 and 3/2009 pdf links in it.
I am not sure if the print issues went out yet, but I do have the pdf versions.

I don’t see a way to subscribe to this magazine. Do I have to call an international number? The magazine said I could subscribe online, but I don’t see how on the website currently. I would love to have this magazine sent to my door!
